What to Expect

If an examination is scheduled please arrive a few minutes before your appointment to allow time to check in and weigh your pet. There are grassy areas outside so your dog can relieve itself before entering. (Annual exams and gastroenteritis cases call for a stool sample. If your pet provides one outside please let us know. We will be happy to collect the sample.) As you enter the front door a receptionist will great you. Please check in with them to complete any needed paperwork. You will then be directed to the waiting area. A veterinary technician will escort you and your pet to an exam room. She will take a basic health history and discuss what services your pet is due for at this visit. A veterinarian and a veterinary assistant will then examine your pet while you are present and answer any questions that you may have. At that point a diagnostic or treatment plan is formulated and agreed upon. The veterinary technician will fill prescriptions and explain needed medications. You will then be escorted to the receptionists for checkout. Payment is expected at the time services are rendered. We accept cash, check, visa, master card, discover and Care Credit. Care Credit is a medical billing company. You can apply online or at our hospital. Application to Care Credit should be made before your appointment. Once you have completed your visit, please let us know if you need help getting your pet to your vehicle. We will be happy to help.
